Blogger New - Google Accounts
Well, welcome to the wonderful world of Blogger. Never before has the most basic become so complicated. For instance, to post to a blog using Content Farmer Pro™ you'll have to jump through some hoops and so will Content Farmer Pro™. Fortunately for you, the guys at Content Farmer Pro™ are more friendly than those at Blogger, so things have been simplified as much as possible - just follow the steps below and you'll be good to go!
- Get a Google account and signup for your Blogger blogs.
- For the Google account setup in step 1, you'll need to give each install of Content Farmer Pro™ which should post to those Blogger blogs permission to post:
- Login to your Content Farmer Pro™ install and choose Blogger Accounts from the top.
- Choose Add Account.
- Login to your Google account, if necessary.
- Click Grant Access.
- You will now be taken back to the Content Farmer Pro™ Blogger Accounts management screen - permission has been granted.
- Once permission has been granted, your Blogger Accounts section will show a weird little code with the ability to Retrieve Blog Ids, set Label Options, add a Reference Name, and delete the account. Add in a Reference Name which will allow you to know which account this secret little code gives you access to (the email address of the account, for example).
- Add in any label options and choose to retrieve blog ids, if you want - this is totally optional.
- Now that you have setup your Blogger Account, you can create your project. Once you're in the Blog Access Information area, choose the Blogger Accounts link below the Blog Access Information box and you will see your Blogger Accounts listed as clickable links.
- Click the link for each account that you want to add to this project - the correct Blogger account line will be automatically added to your blog access information area.
- Clicking the "w/ Stored Ids" link will include all the blogs for this particular id - you can delete any unwanted ones from the list.
- Save your project.
You are advised to carefully read Blogger's terms of service as there are many uses of Content Farmer Pro™ which violate those terms - there are also many uses that abide by those terms.
